PrimeShare Vending is a locally owned and operated vending service dedicated to providing reliable, modern refreshment solutions for workplaces and communities throughout Maryland.
The company was founded by Mike Barker, a former U.S. Army medic and healthcare professional with nearly two decades of experience in high-responsibility roles where reliability, attention to detail, and service to others are essential.
Mike served as a Combat Medic in the Army from 2007 to 2021, including a combat deployment to Iraq in 2009, where he was responsible for providing medical care in demanding and high-pressure environments. That experience instilled a deep commitment to discipline, accountability, and taking care of the people who depend on you.
Following his military service, Mike built a career in healthcare, working as an EMT, ER technician, and registered nurse, serving patients in emergency departments, medical-surgical units, and telemetry/ICU step-down units. These roles required quick problem solving, consistency, and a dedication to doing things the right way — values that continue to guide how PrimeShare Vending operates today.
